FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I customize my display or add additional décor?

Absolutely. Our collections provide the foundation for your design, and select enhancements and add-ons may be available to personalize your entrance. If you have a larger entryway, a specific vision, or would like additional pumpkins, florals, garland, lanterns, or other styling elements, contact us about creating a more customized installation.

Will my display look exactly like the photos?

Each Blue Pumpkin Company installation is individually styled, so no two displays will be exactly alike. Pumpkin varieties, colors, shapes, sizes, florals, and placement may vary based on seasonal availability and the unique features of your home. Your installation will maintain the overall style, color palette, and fullness of the collection you selected.

What happens after I reserve my display?

Once your reservation is received, we’ll review your selected delivery window and styling option. We’ll then begin preparing your curated collection. Designer-Guided orders will include your Blue Pumpkin Designer Setup Guide, while White-Glove orders will be delivered and professionally styled by our team.

What is your cancellation and payment policy?

A 50% non-refundable reservation payment is required to secure your installation, with the remaining balance is due prior to delivery. Clients may also choose to pay in full at the time of booking and receive a 5% savings. Because each installation requires advance planning, scheduling, and seasonal materials, reservation payments are non-refundable.

What do I need to do before my installation?

To help installation go smoothly, please make sure the styling area is accessible and reasonably clear before our arrival. Existing décor, furniture, planters, or other items that you would like incorporated into your design may remain in place. If anything needs to be moved before installation, we’ll discuss it with you when confirming your appointment.

Do I need to be home for delivery?

Not necessarily. If we have safe access to your designated delivery area and any necessary gate or access instructions, you do not need to be home. White-Glove customers will receive additional instructions regarding their scheduled styling and installation.

What happens if there is bad weather on my installation day?

Because our installations take place outdoors, severe weather or unsafe conditions may require us to adjust your installation date or arrival time. If weather affects your appointment, Blue Pumpkin Company will contact you and arrange the next appropriate installation opportunity.

Do I keep the pumpkins and decor?

Yes! All pumpkins, gourds, mums, and other natural seasonal materials included in your display are yours to keep. Certain reusable styling pieces, such as Blue Bayou baskets and Grand Harvest lanterns, remain property of Blue Pumpkin Company and will be collected after the season. Any rental items will be clearly identified as part of your installation.

How long will my fall display last?

Pumpkins and gourds are natural, perishable products, so their lifespan can vary depending on weather, sun exposure, temperature, moisture, and other environmental conditions. Before installation, Blue Pumpkin Company carefully cleans and prepares each pumpkin with a natural based wash to help keep the surface clean and support preservation.

Because our displays are outdoors and may come into contact with birds, squirrels, insects, pets, and other wildlife, we intentionally avoid harsh or potentially harmful chemical treatments and preservatives. We believe beautiful seasonal décor should also be mindful of the environment around it. While our preparation and thoughtful placement can help extend the beauty of your display, pumpkins are natural products and their individual lifespan cannot be guaranteed.

What areas do you service?

Blue Pumpkin Company currently serves select areas throughout Riverside, San Diego, and Orange Counties. Travel outside our standard service area may be available for an additional fee. If you’re unsure whether your home is within our service area, please contact us before reserving your installation.
